Professional Experience

A Career Built in the Courtroom

Nearly 25 years of courtroom experience serving the Seventh Judicial Circuit.

Jeanne Stratis has dedicated her legal career to public service, professionalism, and the rule of law. Since becoming a member of The Florida Bar in 2001, she has spent nearly 25 years serving in the courtroom as an Assistant State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit.


Throughout her career, Jeanne has handled felony, juvenile, and Career Criminal Unit cases, gaining extensive courtroom and trial experience while working closely with law enforcement agencies and legal professionals throughout the community.

As a Career Criminal Unit attorney and docket lead, Jeanne has helped mentor newer attorneys while managing complex and serious criminal cases within the justice system.

Extensive Trial & Courtroom Experience

Throughout her legal career, Jeanne has handled serious felony matters including violent crimes, crimes against children, firearms cases, and other major felony prosecutions.

Her years in the courtroom have reinforced the importance of preparation, professionalism, fairness, and respect for every individual who enters the justice system.

Mentoring and Professional Training

In addition to her courtroom responsibilities, Jeanne has regularly participated in legal education, mentorship, and training opportunities throughout her career.

She has spoken and taught at:

  • Volusia Sheriff’s Office Training Academy
  • FPAA Felony Transition Bootcamp
  • Stetson University Mock Trial Program
  • Daytona State College
  • Orange City Police Department


These training opportunities have focused on courtroom professionalism, trial preparation, investigative procedures, and legal education.
