For nearly 25 years, Jeanne Stratis has served the Seventh Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Attorney, building a career rooted in professionalism, preparation, and public service. Throughout her time in the courtroom, she has handled felony, juvenile, and Career Criminal Unit cases, working on some of the most serious matters in our community.

As a Career Criminal Unit attorney and docket lead, Jeanne has also mentored newer prosecutors and worked closely with law enforcement agencies throughout Volusia County and the surrounding area. Her experience has given her a deep understanding of the responsibility, fairness, and respect every courtroom deserves.

A Career Dedicated to the Courtroom

Outside the courtroom, Jeanne has remained actively involved in organizations and volunteer efforts that give back to the community she has long served.

Jeanne is a member of the Rotary Club of DeLand, where she has chaired Bowling for Literacy and participated in community fundraising events including Florida in February, the Rotary Golf Tournament, and DeLand’s Got Talent. She is also a member of Elks Lodge 1463 and has volunteered with MeStrong.

Whether through mentoring, literacy efforts, or local service projects, Jeanne believes strong communities are built through involvement, compassion, and service to others.
